Chapter One
Some kids grew up kicking a ball around. He grew up watching pans. From the moment he was old enough to hold a knife, food wasn't just something he ate — it was something he obsessed over.
By his teens, he was working in professional kitchens, absorbing every technique, every flavour combination, every shortcut the old chefs would reluctantly share. While his friends were sleeping in on weekends, he was on his feet at 5am, learning what it truly meant to cook at a high level.
The industry was brutal. The hours were longer than anyone warned him. But he didn't just survive it — he thrived in it.
Food was never just fuel to me. It was craft, identity, obsession. I wanted to master it.
Chapter Two
In his early twenties, a gym membership changed his life. Not just physically — but mentally. Training became his therapy, his structure, his second obsession.
But there was a problem. No matter how hard he trained, the results weren't coming. He was burning calories faster than he could consume them, and his fast metabolism made putting on weight feel like trying to fill a bucket with a hole in it.
He tried everything. Protein shakes. Eating before bed. Forcing down an extra meal he didn't want. Nothing stuck. And the ready meals on supermarket shelves? Genuinely awful. Bland, under-portioned, loaded with preservatives — food that looked nothing like what he'd cook himself.
A chef who knew exactly what good food tasted like was being let down by an industry that had settled for mediocre.
Chapter Three
By his late twenties, he had achieved what most chefs only dream of. He owned a franchise restaurant and served as its head chef — orchestrating a kitchen, leading a team, and producing food that people genuinely loved.
He understood every part of the food business. Supply chains. Portion control. Kitchen efficiency. Flavour at scale. He knew how to make food that was both delicious and consistent — two things the fitness food industry had never managed to do at the same time.
